Rotala rotundifolia 'Green' is very similar to the classic Rotala rotundifolia, but its leaves remain light green even in intense light. The Rotala has 15-30 cm long stems (2-3 cm wide) and long, narrow leaves. This Rotala is relatively easy to care for and gets along well with a moderate light intensity. It is a fast grower and willingly develops side shoots, which means it needs to be trimmed often to allow light to reach the lower parts of the stem and keep them from bare.
