Climacium japonicum or "tree moss" is a deciduous moss native to East Asia. This moss owes its name to its tree-like or palm-like growth, which can be put to good use when designing a terrarium scape. The palm moss cannot be permanently cultivated under water, but is ideal for planting in wabi-kusa, terrariums, paludariums, mossariums and the like. It feels particularly comfortable in a moderately moist, low-lime and nutrient-rich substrate and under medium-strong lighting.

Instructions for planting:

Spiky Moos forms deep green, branched shoots. It looks great escpecially on vertical surfaces where the branched shoots are highlighted. Like most mosses, the Spiky Moss doesn't need much to thrive, but give it a little bit of time to adapt to the new conditions. It is also perfect for shrimp tanks, because ecpecially baby shrimp always find enough food particles and biofilm in it.

Riccardia chamedryfolia (Coral Moss) forms fine green cushions and easily grows on stones or root wood. It just looks awesome and is not difficult to care for. Unfortunately, the moss doesn't grow very quickly, which is why a little patience is required after it has been planted. It is perfect for shrimp tanks as the animals can find uneaten food and growth between the mosses. Baby shrimp in particular will always find enough to eat.
