The Rainforest Spleenwart (Asplenium cf. normale) is an absolute rarity in aquaristics and is a beautiful plant with dark green, transparent leaves. In addition to the translucent color, the leaves are feathered, giving the plant a classic fern-like appearance and making it an excellent choice for a jungle-style aquascape, for example. Due to its size of up to 50 cm, it is perfect for the background of the aquarium. The roots of the Asplenium cf.normal can attach themselves well to hardscape, but you can also easily let it grow on substrate. If you do, it is important not to bury the rhizome as it could rot.
