Hygrophila corymbosa 'Thailand' has the narrowest leaves of the various H.corymbosa varieties. Under good lighting the leaves turn reddish brown, under normal lighting the leaves remain medium to light green. Since this stem plant, which can grow up to 50 cm high, willingly grows above the water surface in open aquariums, the small, violet-colored flowers can be observed very well here. The emersed shoots have hairy stems and a generally firmer and stiffer habit. Like all Hygrophila species, H. corymbosa 'Thailand' is also very suitable for paludariums and wet terrariums.
