The Hygrophila sp. "Araguaia" is originally from Asia, although it was first believed to be a Brazilian species. It is also called "Hygrophila lancea". It develops red-brown and linear leaves. The stems have a strong tendency to branch and therefore form low bushes. This plant grows very slowly, needs a good supply of CO2 and enough light.
