sehr muntere und gar nicht scheue Fische, die nicht nur den unteren Beckenbereich bevorzugen, sondern sich auch öfters, im mittleren bereichs des Beckens aufhalten. Bin sehr glücklich mit den Fischen, da man sie auch unter Tags im Becken beobachten kann, was bei anderen Welsarten selten der fall ist.

Aktive Fischchen

Die Metallpanzerwelse (2 Weibchen, 4 Männchen) wurden vor einem dreiviertel Jahr mit anderen Fischchen einwandfrei geliefert. Seitdem fühlen sie sich in meinem 160l-Aquarium so wohl, dass sie bereits mehrmals auf den Aquarienscheiben abgelaicht haben. Mitbewohner sind etliche Sternfleck- und Schmucksalmler, Rote von Rio, Ohrgitterwelse und eine Unmenge an Red-Fire-Garnelen. Einrichtung: Drachensteine, Peacockmoss, Anubias. Das meiste davon (außer Schmucksalmer) bei Garnelaxia online gekauft.

verträgt sich gut mit Aspidoras pauciradiatus und Parotocinclus jumbo
kleinbleibend - größe Schwärme möglich.
Man kann gut einen Metalpanzerwels durch 15 Gefleckter Zwergpanzerwels ersetzen, bei ausreichen ökologischen Nischen und weichem Bodengrund in Höhlensystemen.

sehr süße und aufgeweckte Tiere! Niedliches Verhalten untereinander. Vertragen sich sehr gut mit meinem Coryclan und auch mit meiner großen (12 cm) Madame Ancistrus, die immerhin schon 14 Jahre alt ist. Sie lässt sich gerne von den kleinen, furchtlosen Saugern "abschrubben". Sie lieben eher kühles Wasser mit Strömung und eine Luftsprudelbad wird auch gerne genommen. Ich freue mich sehr, diese lieben Tiere bei Garnelaxia entdeckt zu haben!

Nette immer agile Algebfresser. Halte Sie mit Hexen- und Hummelwelsen im Garnellenaquarium.

Lustige gesellige Fische

Robust. Schmimmen auch gerne im Schwarm oder tobbel mal in kleineren Trupps herum.

Sie lieben es gegen die Strömung bei den Ausströmern anzuschwimmen.

"Sonnes" sich aber auch gerne mal gemütlich am Grund oder an einer Sandbank nahe der Oberfläche.

Schwimen auch gerne mal den Onkel und Tanten der Ohrgitterwelse hinterher. oder auch mal einer Garnele.

Sehr liebe aufgeweckte Zeitgenossen. Für uns unverzichtbar.

Essen auch Futter vom Boden weg!
