Temperature control
There are two important factors which affect the water temperature in the aquarium: firstly the room temperature and secondly direct sunlight. If the room temperature in summer increases significantly, it is important to check the temperature in the aquarium regularly. It should be 24-26 °C. Temperatures above 30 °C are a problem and can cause substantial damage to fish and plants. Furthermore aquariums should never be exposed to direct sunlight. The higher the temperature, the less effectively the oxygen, which is vital for the animals, dissolves.

Easy to install
The bracket of the cooling fan is placed onto the aquarium rim (up to max. 2.4 cm thickness) and fixed with clamp screws.

Cools by evaporation
The JBL coolers for freshwater and marine aquariums cool between 2-4 °C with the help of cross-flow fans. Due to the air flow the warm water evaporates at the water surface and thus generates evaporative cooling. This is comparable to evaporation cooling a wet body part exposed to the wind.

Temperature control:
By expanding a JBL ProTemp Cooler with the JBL ProTemp CoolControl, the cooler can be switched on automatically if the set temperature at the CoolControl between 18 and 36 °C is exceeded. Once the temperature reduction has been reached or exceeded, the cooler switches off again.

Safety
The water cooler has a safety cover grid and is operated with a low voltage of 12 V.

The Chihiros Cooling Fan is ideal for cooling all freshwater and seawater aquariums with a capacity of up to 60 liters and cools them effectively. To do this, the cooling fan is aimed directly at the water surface, which means that the top layer of water evaporates more quickly and the pool cools down. The speed of the fan and thus the cooling result can be controlled by simply pressing a button. With the help of the cooling fan, the water temperature can be reduced by 2°C - 4°C. The fan is attached with a clamp bracket, which is attached directly to the edge of the pool. The aluminum alloy housing is splash-proof. The cooling fan must not be operated under a cover.

A miniature aquaristic cooler dedicated for SHRIMPSET and NANO REEF sets, as well as for any other small freshwater or marine aquarium. It has a form of a tiny module measuring 4 cm x 4 cm x 4 cm and powered with a cord with USB plug. It is designed to be installed on the edge of aquarium glass, just above the water surface.

The set contains a special holder dedicated for mounting the device, however it can also be installed in the grip of AQUAEL DECOLIGHT and DECOLIGHT DUO lamps (the shape of the device is adjusted to the opening in the arm of the lamp).
