This cultivated form of the stem plant Bacopa monnieri is characterized by a more compact and - in good lighting conditions - almost creeping growth. If upright shoots are pinched off, the plant can be kept low and dense as it readily produces numerous side shoots. The plant can also grow in the shade of other plants.
It is particularly suitable as a slightly higher carpet or as a bushy plant in the middle or in the foreground of the aquarium. Without the addition of CO2 and in poor lighting conditions, the plant grows more upright and remains less compact.
