Eriocaulon cinereum is a rare aquarium plant, but it needs a lot of light. It is a more tolerant Eriocaulon species, which also develops well in medium-hard water. The narrow leaves are arranged in a bushy manner and, together with the many small flower stalks, give the Eriocaulon its unique appearance. Since it remains very small, it is ideally suited for the aquarium foreground.
