Marsilea hirsuta is a quite undemanding plant. It originally comes from Australia and has rounded leaves. It grows to a height of around 2 to 10 cm and forms a beautiful, dense carpet in the aquarium. The new leaves are brown in colour, which does not mean that they have died off. It also spreads very quickly.
