Myriophyllum brasiliensis (also Myriophyllum aquaticum) comes from South America and is characterized by its pinnate, light green leaves. In its homeland, Myriophyllum brasiliensis is found in stagnant and slow-moving waters. In Europe it is also cultivated as a pond plant, but it is not hardy and must be overwintered frost-free. This Myriophyllum is fast-growing and not too difficult to cultivate. However, care should be taken to ensure good lighting and nutrient supply.
