Neocaridina "Yellow Fire" is one of the most popular dwarf shrimp. It is easy to keep and easy to breed too. The yellow dwarf shrimp shows particularly pretty colors on a dark (black) substrate. The females and older animals are colored more intensively, freshly hatched young animals are almost transparent. You can support the coloring by feeding astaxanthin. After the transfer, the animals need a few days to weeks to present the full coloring.

It is interesting that the Yellow Fire can be a bit more challenging than other Neocaridina varietes when it comes to propagation, because they pause breeding more often than other Neocaridina breeding forms.
