Eleocharis parvula "Mini" is a grass-like carpeting plant with very thin leaf stems and grows to a maximum height of 5 cm. If the conditions are right, this plant forms a nice, dense carpet of grass, which can also be cut back and kept at a height of 2-3cm without any problems, which is why it is particularly popular in aquascaping. For a compact and healthy growth, Eleocharis parvula needs a sufficiently strong lighting and nutrient supply. In addition, slightly cooler water is preferred and persistent water temperatures above 26°C are not tolerated well.
