Limited Edition

Bacopa salzmannii "Purple" originally comes from America, where it can be found from Mexico to Paragay. It has so far been a rarity in aquaristics and is characterized by its very upright growth and its intense red-violet coloring under strong lighting. On the other hand, weaker lighting creates a more green color. Visually, but also in terms of care, Bacopa salzmannii is comparable to the related Bacopa caroliniana. The stems are strong and have dense leaves. Because it hardly forms any branches when growing, it is ideal for Holland-style aquariums and, especially when placed in groups, looks very beautiful in the middle to background of an aquarium. For the most intense coloring and healthy growth, we recommend sufficiently strong lighting and a balanced supply of nutrients.
