Lagenandra meeboldii "Green" is originally from southern India. The green form of the Meebolds Lagenandra is characterized by a light to medium green leaf colour. This slow-growing plant is not particularly demanding to care for, but the aquarium should be well lit and the soil should be rich in nutrients for it to thrive. With its rosette-like growth and broad leaves, the Lagenandra meeboldii resembles a Cryptocoryne. In loose groups or planted individually, the Lagenandra looks particularly great in the middle ground, but thanks to its very slow growth it can also be used as a foreground plant for a long time.
