Rotala wallichii 'Long Leaf' originally comes from Asia. It forms very tender and fine leaves. Their colors range from pink to reddish. Externally, the 'Long Leaf' is very similar to the Rotala Nanjenshan, but grows upright and has a darker, more intense red colour.
The Rotala 'Long Leaf' is particularly beautiful in groups. It is a rather demanding stem plant, as it needs a lot of light, an additional supply of CO2 and enough nutrients. It also thrives particularly well in rather soft water.
