1st stage: in-line sediment filter 5 microns
The sediment filter with a filtration size of 5 microns (corresponds to 5/1000th of a millimeter) consists of a high-quality polypropylene fleece. The sediment filter has a very high number of open micropores on the entire surface, which enables a particularly effective absorption of impurities. The inline sediment filter is made of a special polypropylene that is particularly resistant to chemical attack and at the same time prevents the development of microorganisms. The sediment filter is firmly welded in the housing. The filter housing has an internal thread with ¼ inch connections on both sides.
Removes or reduces: dirt, sand, rust, all coarse particles larger than 5 microns (5/1000ths of a millimeter).

2nd stage: Inline activated carbon filter
The activated carbon filter consists of high-quality activated carbon granulate, which has a particularly large-pored surface. Due to the special absorption capacity of the individual granules, the activated carbon filter removes or reduces chlorine particles, odours, flavorings, phenol, benzene and organic impurities from the tap water. The activated carbon filter provides an excellent improvement in taste and visual aesthetics of the filtered water. The activated charcoal filter is also equipped with a polypropylene fleece on the inside, which means that the activated charcoal granules cannot escape.
