Professional use of pH electrodes for aquariums: complete set for the calibration

• Easy to use: Fill calibration solutions into cuvettes. Immerse pH electrode in calibration solutions according to instructions and rinse afterwards
• pH electrodes need to be readjusted (calibrated) every 30 - max. 60 days. To do this, they are immersed in calibration liquids with a given pH value and the device then readjusts itself
• Only 5-10 ml calibration liquid is needed per calibration procedure. Then rinse with distilled water (included in the set)
• Safe storage: small bottle with screw cap. Can be used several times

Healthy fish and plants 
The pH value defines the acidity of the water. It needs to be constantly checked and adjusted as necessary to maintain the health of the fish and plants. The right pH value depends on the fish stock of the aquarium. The wrong pH value can cause stress and diseases. Using an electrode the value can be precisely measured. 

Cleaning and care of electrodes 
Bacteria, lime and other impurities which settle on the electrode can falsify the real pH value. The regular cleaning and calibration of the electrode ensure precise measurement and an unaltered pH value. Electrodes always need to be stored in a humid place. 

Easy to use 
Fill 10 ml of each of the two calibration liquids (pH 7 and pH 4) into cuvettes. Fill the third cuvette with distilled water. Remove the electrode from the aquarium and dry it. Immerse the electrode in the calibration solutions in the order given in the instructions, rinsing each time. The complete set contains all the liquids required for the professional and regular calibration.
