Neocaridina Star Sunkist (also known as Star Sunkist) is a brand new and extremely attractive cultivar of the Orange Sunkist, which has red spots or speckles on its orange carapace and offers considerable breeding potential. This color pattern, reminiscent of the eponymous koi fish, varies greatly from individual to individual and lends each fish a special beauty. Females, in particular, can also exhibit a light-speckled dorsal stripe. Newly hatched fish are almost transparent and become more vibrant with each molt. The coloration can be further enhanced with occasional astaxanthin feeding.
