The Aspidoras Dwarf Catfish originally comes from South America, where it is mainly found in coastal rivers. The red variety is the albinotic form of the classic Aspidoras C125. This fish feels comfortable with at least 8 members of its own species and grows to around 4 cm. In the aquarium, which holds at least 54 - but preferably more - liters, it needs a fine, non-sharp substrate as well as sufficient hiding places in the form of plants and, for example, catfish caves, roots or stones. The Aspidoras C125 is fairly easy to keep if these needs are met.
