Schismatoglottis roseaspatha is an attractive aroid native to Borneo. This species can be found on the creek bank in the splash water area as well as growing submerged on rocks. There they form compact cushions with very small leaf blades.
In the aquarium, this beauty reaches a maximum height of 8 centimeters. Striking features are the strongly wavy leaf edges and the silvery stomata on the upper side of the leaf. The species prefers rather soft and moving water. Planted in coarse-grained substrate or attached to stone or wood, this novelty is an enrichment for plant lovers.
