ULTRAMAX are technically advanced external filters with patented solutions. The pre-filter used reduces the frequency of cleaning the filter cartridges, and being inserted in the lid of the device allows replacement without having to remove the filter from the base cabinet. It is suitable for both freshwater and seawater aquariums.

The main advantages are:

Great performance - Ultramax filters are characterized by very fast water flow (max. from 1000 to 2000 l/h). This allows them to work efficiently even in very large aquariums (up to 700 l). In addition, they are spacious and contain a large number of filter cartridges housed in comfortable ergonomic baskets, each with a capacity of 1.9 liters (the number of baskets varies between 3 and 5 depending on the model). As a result, they guarantee effective mechanical and biological filtration. They have carefully selected fillings for the needs of a typical aquarium.

Built-in pre-filter - this is a novelty on the market. The cover of each Ultramax filter has a built-in large foam pre-filter (capacity approx. 0.6 l). Its task is to capture thicker mechanical impurities before they get into the filter, so the device is protected from clogging. Frequent cleaning of the device is therefore not necessary. It is enough to regularly rinse the sponge of the pre-filter in tap water. This process only takes a few minutes. There is no need to unplug the filter or remove it from the aquarium cabinet.

Silent operation – the well thought-out design of the filter pump rotor and its chamber, over 30 years of experience of AQUAEL designers, the ceramic rotor axis ensure silent operation. Thanks to this, the filter can work in any room (even in the bedroom).

Extremely low power consumption - the innovative ULTRAMAX filters have a very low power consumption.

Safety of use - the water inlets and water outlets in ULTRAMAX filters are equipped with robust double ball valves. This makes it quick and easy to disconnect the hoses from the filter before cleaning, and even small water leaks are prevented!

The ULTRAMAX line includes three filter models (ULTRAMAX 1000, 1500, 2000) with a capacity of 1000 to 2000 l/h.
