Nesaea sp. "Gold" (synonym: Ammannia pedicellata "Gold") is a beautiful, quite demanding aquarium plant with a great play of colors. The colors of the leaves can range from green to golden yellow and orange and the dark red colored stem forms a great contrast. Rather strong lighting and a good supply of nutrients should not be missing from the plant in order to achieve healthy growth and exploit its full color potential. Regarding the water, the Golden Nesaea prefers rather soft and warm water between 22 - 28°C.
