Micranthemum umbrosum is also known as "Giant baby tears" and is characterized by its small, round and bright green leaves and its low and compact habit, which makes it an ideal carpeting plant. Although a CO2 supply is not absolutely necessary, it is recommended. In order to achieve the most compact, healthy growth possible, this plant also needs relatively strong lighting and a water temperature that is not too high. It can also be easily cut into shape with scissors. Micranthemum umbrosum is not only suitable under water, but can also particularly well be used for Wabi Kusa.
