Ludwigia repens "Mesanka" is a colorful stem plant with large, round leaves that can range in color from green to orange-red. It is ideal for the middle to background of larger aquariums and forms a nice contrast to green and narrow-leaved plants. In terms of care, it is a bit more demanding than the classic Ludwigia repens and needs rather strong lighting and a good supply of nutrients in order to thrive. The compact, bushy growth of this fast-growing plant can be promoted with regular pruning.
