Hydrocotyle versticillata is characterized by its round leaf shape, which resembles a cap fungus or a shield. The growth habit of this plant is creeping and compact in good lighting, making it a wonderful carpeting plant for the foreground and middle ground. With its rounded and light green leaves, it also forms a nice contrast to other plants in the aquarium. It is a low-maintenance plant that grows quickly and does well with moderate lighting.
