Cryptocoryne parva is the smallest Cryptocoryne currently known. It usually needs more light than many other Cryptocoryne species. It grows slowly and has very narrow leaves. Cryptocoryne parva is planted in the ground with little spacing and develops a coherent and low carpet after a few months. Due to its slow growth, it is also very well suited for setting accents in the foreground when planted individually.
